You can complete one of our online enquiry forms, and our admin team will contact you, or you can call us directly on (07) 3453 4205 or email enquiries@vibewellpsychology.com.au.

Yes. You’re welcome to choose a practitioner from our [Meet the Team] page, or we can help match you with someone based on your needs, preferences, and availability.

Your first appointment is about getting to know you, your needs, and your goals. This includes:

  • Building rapport with your practitioner
  • Discussing your history and current challenges
  • Setting therapy goals
  • Explaining the therapy process and confidentiality
  • Planning next steps

If the appointment is for a child, the first session is usually attended by the parent or caregiver only to gather background information before meeting with the child.

Services

  • Therapy and counselling for children, teens, and adults supporting a range of mental health and wellbeing needs
  • Psychological assessments for ADHD, Autism, cognitive ability, education, and functional capacity
  • Services that can be accessed through private funding, Medicare rebates, NDIS, WorkCover, and DVA

We offer a range of approaches to suit your needs including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy, or other methods. We adapt our approach to each client, ensuring sessions are always guided by a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed perspective.

Yes, we offer both in-clinic and Telehealth (video link) sessions.

Yes, we offer services to plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants.

Fees, Funding & Rebates

Some services are eligible for Medicare rebates, private health rebates, WorkCover, DVA, or NDIS funding depending on your circumstances.

No referral is required for private sessions. If you wish to claim Medicare rebates, you’ll need an eligible referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.

Yes, with an eligible referral letter, you can claim Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a registered psychologist.

Yes, only for sessions with a registered psychologist and an eligible MHCP and referral.

Yes, for eligible services with a registered psychologist. Some claims can be processed on-site via our HICAPS machine.

We do not offer ongoing bulk billing. Some registered psychologists have a bulk-billed waitlist for limited cancellations, offered on short notice.

Yes, sessions with our provisional psychologists are available at a reduced rate, subject to availability, and cannot be booked more than four weeks in advance.

Therapy Process & Practitioners

  • Registered Psychologist: Fully qualified, AHPRA registered, Medicare rebate eligible, able to work independently.
  • Provisional Psychologist: In the final training stage, closely supervised, cannot offer Medicare/private health rebates, but fees are lower.

Both provide high-quality, evidence-based support, with provisional psychologists being a great option for affordability and availability.

Policies & Cancellations

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to allow us to offer your appointment to another client.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee.
  • If we can reschedule within 7 days, the fee may be waived (unless the rescheduled appointment is also cancelled).

You can cancel or reschedule by:

  • Calling (07) 3453 4205
